Balochistan to adopt 200 families

QUETTA, Dec 10: The Balochistan government announced on Saturday that it would adopt 200 families affected by the Oct 8 earthquake and would bear all their expenses. The announcement was made by Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Mir Mohammad Yousuf at an official ceremony marking the launch of the national volunteer movement in the province.

The chief minister filled out a registration form on the occasion. Alim Adil Shiekh, chief of Pakistan Muslim League’s youth wing, was also present.

Jam Yousuf said the national volunteer movement was a revolutionary step and voiced confidence that it would help promote integrity and mutual understanding among the people of all the four provinces.
