On Dec 16, the SHO released the PO after accepting from him Rs10,000. The complainant informed the ACE judge who ordered the registration of a case against SHO Rafiq, muharrer Akhtar and a constable. The judge directed the police to produce the accused policemen before court on next hearing date on Jan 27.
