KARACHI, March 5: Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Shaharyar M. Khan, said on Friday that victory in the ICC Under-19 World Cup was a good omen for the forthcoming series against India.

In a message to the Pakistan Under-19 squad, the PCB chief said that the senior team should gain inspiration from the outstanding performance of the new world champions.

"The victory at Dhaka suggests that the future of Pakistan cricket is heading in the right direction. These youngsters have given the nation an appropriate gift by winning the U-19 World Cup. "The senior team can learn a few things from this success and take on India without any fear of losing," he remarked.
