KARACHI, July 24: The State Bank has received $115.3 million third tranche of the $1.3 billion IMF-backed PRGF.

The IMF board of directors had cleared the release of the third PRGF tranche earlier this month. Chief spokesman for the State Bank Syed Wasimuddin told Dawn that the amount had been credited into the SBP account on Tuesday.

He said after the inflow of this amount, gross liquid foreign exchange reserves of Pakistan rose to $6.9 billion on Wednesday.
