By Our Correspondent

LANDI KOTAL, April 20: Teachers of many private schools took out a procession here on Saturday, to protest the authorities’ failure to recover an abducted student.

Nizamuddin, a student of class 8th at Suffa Public School, Sultan Khel, was kidnapped by residents of Lachiwal village on April 12.

All private schools also remained closed on Thursday, to protest the inaction of the Khyber Agency authorities .

The teachers wore black arm bands, and marched through the bazaar to the office of the political tehsildar. The acting chairman, All Private Schools Association of Landi Kotal, Ahmad Shah, urged the administration to arrest the kidnappers without delay.

The protestors demanded that all ration supplies to the Lachiwal village be cut off, till the return of Nizamuddin.
