LAHORE: The roof of a dilapidated three-story building collapsed in Lahore's Tibbi city area on Friday morning killing five people of a family, DawnNews reported.

The fatal collapse occurred after the city received rainfall during the previous night. The deceased included a married couple and their three children.

The family had lived at the residence for the past five years, according to relatives of the victims who alleged that the landowner was repeatedly requested by the tenants for the repairs of  the rundown roof.
