I RECENTLY passed the written examinations for appointment as a lecturer in English literature conducted by the Sindh Public Service Commission.

The SPSC advertisement called even students with third division to apply for the post of lecturer. Since candidates having third division were called to apply, I also applied and qualified the written examination and appeared on the merit list.

After taking my written examination, I appeared for another master’s in English and passed it in second division in 2010. Now, the SPSC has sent me a rejection letter with a reason that I do not stand eligible for the interview as I have a master’s in third division, while I have improved my grade and has submitted my credentials to the SPSC.

I request the chairman and the secretary of the SPSC to allow me to at least appear in the interview for the post of lecturer as I have acquired yet another master’s in English which is in second division.
