HSSC results

Published January 13, 2013

EACH year the Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi, (BIEK) conducts annual examinations in late April or early May. Through these columns I would like to draw the attention of the BIEK authorities towards the timely announcement of HSSC (part-II) results.

In most foreign universities the new session starts in September. Unfortunately, the BIEK generally announces results late, and so our students either get provisional admission or they have to withhold their admission if they do not want to take a risk.

The same was the case with those students who took admission in one of the prestigious business schools of Karachi and their admission remained ‘Provisional’ until they submitted their mark-sheets as evidence of having cleared the HSSC examinations.

Can the BIEK examination department try to announce the HSSC (part-II) results coinciding with the A level results so that our children can also apply for admissions.
