A NEWS report in Dawn recently mentioned about Paul Nixon (former English wicket-keeper) who said that Pakistan throwing away the match seemed to be perfectly all right.

The body language of Pakistan players was very perceptible -- they had no intention of white-washing the series. Losing this match is not significant -- there was absolutely no fighting spirit.

At one time we had over 50 balls in spare and a time came at close when we were 10 to 12 balls behind.

Misbah and the selection team officials could have tried youngsters and allowed them to gain experience of the international contest as the series was already in Pakistan’s favour by 2-0. It is hoped the BCCP will look into the match result.
