PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Thursday said that once in power, he and his party would recover the country's ‘looted wealth’, DawnNews reported.
Speaking at a PTI meeting in Peshawar, Khan said the people should not vote for politicians whose assets and properties were outside Pakistan.
The PTI chief added that he would dissociate Pakistan from the 'war on terror'.
He invited Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif and leaders of other political parties to take the opportunists in the PTI to their own respective parties.
Khan said the PTI was an ideological party, adding that, in the war between ideology and money, ideology would win.
The PTI chief said the PTI would defeat so-called political heavyweights with the help of the youth, adding that, the PTI's tsunami would sweep away the corrupt system and would establish a system of justice in the country.
He further said that a PTI government would promote the local government system across the country, including in the tribal areas.

He is probably the only honest leader in Pakistan right now. So we all have to make choice. Do we want IK to be your next leader or do we want to the same of the old. I think choice is very clear. The only question here is if we are going to come out of our comfort zone to make it happen.

But how are you going to do it without any agenda of structural reforms. You should have built on people's aspiration not the same vaderas, choudhries and sardars in the party. You should target the people not a few land lords. Introduce first land reforms. Limit land holding and distribute excess land among landless poor. Then you will see new faces in the parliament. Not until then.

Promotion of local government is very important as the general public will get directly involved in the development efforts. Mr Khan does probably know that the looted billions are stacked in different banks and financial institutions all across the world under different persons and company names, to recover the loot, he may have to take the help of recovering agencies who charge a hefty percentage of the money they recover and there may also be legal battles.So Mr Khan has a gigantic task ahead of him.

Corruption is one of biggest evils in the country. No party can control corruption except PTI. Why? because other major parties themselves use corruption for sustaining their rule. They loot public money to increase their wealth; they bribe people to buy their votes; they invest money of local leaders to buy their loyalties; they bribe elected politicians for 'horse trading' in parliament and so on. Therefore they cant control corruption. PTI can control corruption because they are free from such kind of politics. It is must for people to understand this can vote to PTI only if they want change for cleaner, corruption free Pakistan. Vote for PTI!!!
