LAHORE, Dec 13: Robbers took away cash and valuables worth hundreds of thousands in the city on Thursday, police said.

Three gunmen broke into the house of Hisham Khan in Guldasht Town and took away cash and valuables worth Rs700,000.

The security guards of the society closed gates but suspects deserted their car on a street and disappeared. Police seized the car.

Two gunmen stopped Qasim in Alfalah Town and robbed him of Rs65,000, a cell phone and a motorcycle while as many robbers intercepted Mumtaz in G-Block Johar Town in Nawab Town police remit and took away Rs70,000, a cell phone and a motorcycle from him.
