‘Beyond the law’

Published September 15, 2012

YOUR editorial ‘Beyond the law’ (Sept 8) was very timely and thought-provoking. How can there be a different law for a different set of people? This strikes at the foundation of the state and the whole edifice would collapse if discrimination is not ended.

It is sad that there are persons around who could be so audacious as to pursue their nefarious designs and rob pensioners of their hard-earned money.

It is even more painful to see that these black sheep are being protected. Such scrupulous persons need to be meted out severe punishment.
