Faulty transformers

Published September 12, 2012

ANYHOW ordinary people have managed to bear this odious loadshedding in Pakistan but it is the most deplorable thing that at many places in Sukkur, including in the New Pind Islam Colony, the transformers have crossed their age limit but have not yet been replaced with new ones.

If we ask authorities to do the needful, they demand money from residents of that particular area. Faulty transformers remain out of order for even weeks and we remain in darkness for a long time.

This is a depressing situation. The Sepco authorities should take immediate and concrete action in this regard.
