LAHORE, Feb 29: The organisers of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) have returned the passports of the two Pakistani players after holding a brief inquiry into the matter.

The passports of the two players were seized immediately after the arrest of a Pakistani citizen Sajid Khan for his suspect activities during the league matches which local police said could be linked with spot-fixing.

Sources said both the players — one of them a former Pakistan opener and the other an all-rounder — received their passports on Wednesday and will be returning to Pakistan with their fellow players from Bangladesh on Thursday.—Sports Reporter
