OKARA: The National Database Registration Authority (Nadra) has started one-window operation in Dipalpur office where 600 to 700 people visit for renewal and issue of new CNICs and other documents.

Nadra Assistant Director Ahmad Naseer told reporters on Wednesday that Dipalpur people had been facing problems for a long at Nadra office as Dipalpur tehsil was the biggest tehsils of the district.

The district administration, Nadra staff and local Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf leaders Chaudhry Tariq Irshad and Rao Muhammad Safdar were also present at the inaugural of the one-window operation.

HELD: The police arrested Ikram on Wednesday for killing his sister and bhabi some four days back in village Qila Jawahar Singh near Dipalpur over a family issue. In another incident, Ghulam Rasool was found hanged with a ceiling fan in his house in village Kohla.
