KARACHI: Two men were found shot dead in Ittehad Town early on Monday morning. Police believed one of them had a criminal record and suspected that they might have been killed by their accomplices.

Area SHO Pervez Bhutto said that two unidentified bullet-riddled bodies were found in a street at Haq Bahoo Chowk in Qaimkhani Colony of Baldia Town.

The corpses were shifted to the Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi for legal formalities.

Later on, one of the dead was identified as Zubair, alias Naveed, a resident of Orangi Town. The criminal record of the suspects maintained by the police showed that he had remained involved in crimes in the past and was also once arrested. A motorbike was also found at the crime scene. It was snatched on June 16, 2019 in Orangi Town’s Iqbal Market police limits.

The SHO said that the dead were suspected robbers, probably gunned down by their accomplices.
