BOOK DAY

Celebration of world Book Day 2019 — an effort to encourage the love of books, reading and libraries, organised by the Archives Department of Architecture & Planning, NED University of Engineering and Technology on its city campus, Maulana Din Muhammad Wafai Road, at 9.30am.

EXHIBITIONS

An exhibition titled Exploring dimensions, organised by the Department of Education, University of Karachi, at the Arts auditorium, from 9am to 2pm. During the exhibition, students would put wall magazine, artwork, and other projects on display.

An exhibition of works by Mian Ijaz ul Hassan opens at Canvas gallery at 5pm. The show titled New, News, Newest will remain open till May 2, daily from 11am to 8pm (excluding Sunday).

An exhibition of works by two artists Farazeh Syed & Mohsin Shafi opens at Sanat gallery at 5pm. The show titled There is No Them, will remain open till May 3.

An exhibition of artwork by four artists opens at Chawkandi Art gallery at 5.30pm. The participants are: Ayesha Naveed, Razin Rubin, Haider Ali Naqvi, Jovita Alvares. The show will remain open till May 2.

LITERARY SITTING

A literary sitting organised to honour poet and journalist Shahzad Sharjeel in the new dining hall, Karachi Press Club, at 6pm.
