THE use of plastic is rampant across the world. Plastic bags are harmful to the marine animals, including leather bag sea turtles. This hazardous material has wrecked have with marine life, including whales, turtles, fishes and leather bag sea turtles.

These turtles are an endangered species and will be extinct in a few years if not saved, according to International Union for Conservation of Nature. Leather bag sea turtles take these plastic bags as food, which has been causing death of these precious species.

We need to take measures to protect and preserve these precious species by ensuring plastic bags are not thrown in the sea.
