LAHORE: Javeria Wadood will Pakistan in place of the injured Bismah Maroof for the upcoming tour of Bangladesh and the series against Australia in Malaysia as the 15-member women’s squad was finalised on Wednesday.

Chief selector Jalaluddin, the former Test paceman, stated in a PCB media release that Bismah could still make a return for the Australia series if she regains complete fitness.

The selectors also named five reserves for the two series.

The women’s national side would four T20 Internationals and a one-off One-day International against Bangladesh in Khulna from Oct 1 to 8 before facing Australia in three ODIs and as many T20s from Oct 18 to Oct 29.

Squad: Javeria Wadood (captain), Nahida Bibi, Ayesha Zafar, Muneeba Ali Siddiqui, Sidra Amin, Omaima Sohail, Nida Rashid, Sidra Nawaz, Sana Mir, Nashra Sundhu, Anum Amin, Natalia Pervez, Aliya Riaz, Diana Baig, Aiman Anwar.

Reserves: Kainat Imtiaz, Iram Javed, Fareeha Mehmood, Ghulam Fatima, Saba Nazir.
