Pak Colony SHO Arshad Ali Khan said Abdul Rehman, 22, was attacked by some armed men in Old Golimar. He sustained four bullet wounds on different parts of his body and was taken to Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi, where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.

The officer said the victim was a drug peddler, who was killed by his rival group led by a man known as Agha in the area.

The victim was resident of the Manghopir area. He was arrested by the police around two years ago and released on bail last month.

The police alleged that the victim worked for a gang led by Sajid and Majid in Old Golimar. He had gone there to meet someone when he was killed.
