Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators will face each other in the fifth match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2018 In Dubai today.

Both the teams lost their respective opening matches of the tournament, with the Qalandars losing to Multan Sultans and the Gladiators suffering defeat at the hands of Karachi Kings.

However, the Gladiators — despite falling at the final hurdle in the previous two PSLs — have been the event's most consistent side. And under the captaincy of Sarfaraz Ahmed, they will be hoping to bounce back tonight from the disappointment of their opening match defeat. The team has a strong batting line-up, with players such as Kevin Pietersen, Shane Watson, Jason Roy and Rilee Rossou, all of who have the ability to turn the match around at any point.

The Qalandars, on the other hand, are armed with a balanced combination of pace and spin. With bowlers like Sohail Khan, Shaheen Afridi, Sunil Narine etc. they have a dangerous bowling attack. They have also managed to pull together an impressive batting line-up with hard hitters like Fakhar Zaman, Brendon McCullum, Umar Akmal and Christopher Lynn.
