QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri has suspended Deputy Commissioner Azizullah Gharsheen and Assistant Commissioner Jalaluddin Kakar of Kalat district for showing negligence in performing their official duties and misconduct.

According to an official order issued on Friday night, the chief minister has taken action against the two senior officers on complaints filed against them by the people of the district.

The order said both the officers were found guilty during an investigation launched in the wake of the complaints. They also allegedly had contacts with anti-social elements.

The chief minister ordered an inquiry against them.
