DADU: Three passengers of a coach died and 20 others were injured when it collided head-on with a truck near Khanot town on the Sehwan-Jamshoro section of the Indus Highway on Monday.

The deceased victims were identified as Mr Hyat, Ms Haleema and a five-year-old boy, Bilawal.

The bodies and injured victims were taken to the Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences Hospital in Jamshoro by the Khanot police.

Doctors at the hospital said that the condition of three injured passengers, Mr Babu, Mr Omer and Ms Khatoon, was critical. Khanot police impounded both vehicles and started an investigation.
