PESHAWAR: The police on Monday recovered two suicide jackets from a mosque on the outskirts of the capital city. However, no arrests were made.

An official at the Paharipura police station told Dawn that acting on a tip-off police personnel checked Abu Bakar mosque near Benazir Hospital along the motorway. He said the cops recovered two suicide jackets containing about five kilogramme explosives from the room of the prayer leader of the mosque. However, the prayer leader was not present in the room at the time of the raid.
