He is the number one singer in Pakistan who has made us proud by giving us countless Bollywood hits and mesmerising qawwali tracks. And now Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s talent has been recognised beyond the subcontinent’s shores.

On July 13, Rahat FK was honoured by the University of Oxford for his contribution to music. Not only that, he also performed at the university’s Hollywood Music Room, the oldest custom-built concert hall in Europe. Well done Khan Sahib, keep crooning because thaaray jaisa na koi!
