KARACHI: Five teachers were arrested for helping students taking exams cheat in two schools in Malir on Tuesday.

The teachers were caught by an anti-copy vigilance team set up by Malir deputy commissioner Mohammed Ali Shah to catch culprits involved in cheating in examinations.

The two teachers — Hanif and Shamshad — were caught in the Government Boys and Girls Secondary School, Labour Square, and locked up in the Sukhan police station.

Three other teachers — Mohammad Salman, Sajid Khan and Abid Ali — were caught by the team at the Shumaila Public Gulshan-i-Askari School, Landhi, and locked up in the Shah Latif police station, says a statement issued by the DC office.
