KARACHI: A baby boy kidnapped from outside the National Institute of Child Health over two months ago was finally safely recovered by police in a raid on a hideout of kidnappers in Malir.

The police arrested three kidnappers, Gulfam, Rizwan Khan and his wife Rani, during the raid conducted in Jaffer-i-Tayyar Society, said Karachi-South DIG Dr Jamil Ahmed while speaking at a press conference at his office.

He said the police also recovered the three-month-old Mohammad Umer who had been kidnapped at the age of one month from outside the children’s hospital on Sept 17.

The DIG said that one of the suspects, Rizwan, was a police constable of the prison department.
