GUJRAT: The Department of Product Design at the School of Art, Design and Architecture (SADA), University of Gujrat (UoG), held a Thesis Degree Show 2015.

Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Ziaul Qayyum inaugurated the exhibition.

The students presented their models on different themes and utility items of everyday life. Each model was a wonderful effort of the creative abilities of the students.

The models ranged from motorcycles, buses, shoes, cars, boats, tracksuits, and household items.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Zia lauded the students for their creativity, saying industrial growth was possible only through modernisation of knowledge and research.

He advised the students and faculty to launch community outreach projects.

The VC said Business Incubation Centre at UoG would provide a great opportunity to the students for commercialization of their innovative and entrepreneurial ideas and concepts.

Department of Product Design chairman Mazhar Abbas also spoke.
