LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Lahore, has arrested a police inspector for accumulation of assets beyond his known source of income.

A complaint was lodged in NAB against Inspector Ahmad Ali Goraya about his assets.

“During inquiry it was revealed that the accused owns unjustified assets, which do not match to his legal source of income,” a NAB spokesman said.

The accused will be produced on Monday before the accountability court judge for obtaining physical remand.

Also, Lahore NAB Director General retired Maj Syed Burhan Ali distributed Rs26.9 million among 200 affectees of Nosher F. Dastoor (Lahore Stock Exchange case).
