Golf trials from 9th

KARACHI: Two-day trials to select Sindh squad for the Inter-Association Golf Championship will be held from Saturday, May 9, the Sindh Golf Association (SGA) anno­unced on Sunday.

The 36-hole first round of trials will be held at the Karachi Golf Club while the second round of trials will be staged at the Defence Authority Country Golf Club on May 10.

“Around 16 golfers representing, KGC, DACGC, Arabian Sea and Airmen Club will be featuring in the trials,” SGA chief Asad I.A.Khan said.

He added that after the trials a 4-member Sindh team will be finalised to take part in the competition which will be played alongside the 54th Amateur Golf Championship of Pakistan at the Islamabad Golf Club.
