SHEIKHUPURA: A man was shot dead by his captors over non-payment of ransom on Monday.

Reports said three suspects – Aqib, Farman and Bilal –allegedly kidnapped Naeem of Habib Colony, took him to near Bahrianwala village and kept him there for 24 hours.

The captors shot him dead after the family could not arrange ransom. City A-Division police recovered the body and started investigation.

TWO ELECTROCUTED: Two labourers were electrocuted here on Monday on Jandiala Road.

Reports said Sanaullah and Azam riding a tractor-trolley laden with iron bars were on their way to Chapa Minara village. Near Nasheman Park, they accidentally touched live wires hanging from the pole. They received electric shocks and breathed their last at DHQ Hospital.
