ISLAMABAD: Two men allegedly affiliated with Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were taken into custody during separate raids, sources in the capital police said on Tuesday.

The raids were conducted at Tarnol and Golra, which led to the arrest of the suspects allegedly affiliated with TTP Mohmand Agency chapter and its Khorasani group.

Four other suspects from the same group were arrested during a raid at Pindorian on January 21. The raid was jointly carried out by the police and a paramilitary force.

The sources said these four suspects had disclosed the location of their two accomplices who were also rounded up. The sources said the suspects had arrived in the area recently.

Meanwhile, the police arrested 10 suspects during search operations in different parts of the city on Tuesday.

The operations were conducted in Ramna, Bhara Kahu and Tarnol police areas.
