Fata as part of KP

Published December 21, 2014

THE horrific killing of children in Peshawar by terrorists has shown us that even with an ongoing army operation in Fata, terrorists will still be able to strike Peshawar.

The reason is simple: Peshawar is close to the Fata region. Without proper government and control in Fata, Peshawar can never be considered safe.

I think the government and the people should convert Fata into a regular region of Pakistan. The entire region should be included in KP so that the provincial government can supply experienced and skilled personnel for the new government offices.
