LAHORE: The opening ceremony of the sixth Lahore International Children Film Festival (LICFF) was held at Faletti’s Hotel on Sunday.

This year the festival will be presented by The Little Art in collaboration with Cinepax from Nov 10 to Nov 15 at Cinepax, Fortress Square, Lahore. A total of 169 films for children from 45 countries will be screened.

The ceremony also screened a show reel of the officially selected short films made by the students from Lahore Grammar School, Johar Town, LACAS Burki campus, Azam Garrison and Beaconhouse National University.

The opening ceremony was well attended. Films made by Pakistani students that were selected to be screened at the festival this year were awarded certificates and prizes by the guests.

The ceremony also screened a show reel of the officially selected short films made by the students from Lahore Grammar School, 535 Johar Town, LACAS Burki campus, Azam Garrison and Beaconhouse National University.
