LAHORE: Prices of a number of vegetables and fruits witnessed a rising trend in all Sunday bazaars after the city district government’s team visited them and compared the prices with the last week.

According to a spokesman, the team noted increase in prices of 19 of the total 37 vegetables available in the bazaars. It also observed increase in the prices of 19 of the total 32 fruits available there.

However, the prices of 15 vegetables and eight fruits were said to have decreased slightly.
