HEC scholarship

Published August 30, 2014

IN July 2013, the Higher Education Commission invited applications for scholarships under Indigenous PhD Fellowship Programme for MPhil, leading to the PhD programme.

A year has passed and the applicants are now in their third semester of the MPhil programme, but the HEC is yet to finalise and announce the scholarship. This inefficiency and delay on the part of the HEC brings into question the tall claims of prioritising human resource development and higher education by Minister of Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal.
