Long march

Published July 26, 2014

THIS is apropos various columnists and analysts suggesting Imran Khan to do something practical instead of launching the campaign like the long march.

I agree that he must do something practical but should he step down from the stand against a massive rigging? Should he not adhere to our right of transparent elections?

Should he not revolt against the system which is against democracy? While our senior federal minister comments on the recommendation of a biometric system, our nation doesn’t know how to use such a system.

Should we quit our right to vote and let the nation be ruled by this Gullu Butt brigade? Should we not bring the despots to book?

I request the people who are against Imran’s stance to tell us the way instead of a long march through which we can get our rights.
