MASEHRA: A passenger van fell into a ravine killing 15 persons on Tuesday near Kot Gila area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Battagram disrict, DawnNews reported.

Security teams reached the site and began shifting the victims to hospitals. The condition of three victims was reported as critical.

Eyewitnesses claimed that the fatal mishap took place while the the driver of the van attempted to negotiate a sharp turn.

Pakistan has one of the world's worst records for fatal traffic accidents, blamed on poor roads, badly maintained vehicles and reckless driving.
