PESHAWAR: A child was injured when unidentified persons hurled a hand grenade at a house in Musazai area in suburbs of Peshawar on Wednesday evening, police said.

An official of Badbher police said that the grenade was thrown at the hujra of Malik Aman, a former nazim of Musazai union council, which damaged the building.

The official said that police reached the spot soon after the incident and blocked the entry and exit points of the area to arrest the suspects. However, no arrest was made till filing of this report. Police registered a case against unknown suspects and began investigation.
