PIA flight delay irks passengers

LAHORE: A Jeddah-bound PIA flight delayed for more than 24 hours caused a great deal of inconvenience to passengers.
The PK-7423 was scheduled to leave for Jeddah from the Allama Iqbal International Airport on Saturday 7pm.
The passengers protested against the PIA authorities for not informing beforehand about the delay.
A PIA spokesman said the passengers had been informed a day before the 24-hour delay in the flight.
"Those who got booking through travel agents could not get the information," he said.

Always same close PIA and save revenue - best answer and all employees send M/East to work for Airlines and send foreign exchange. Close PIA. best answer.

PIA by far has been the worst airline that I have traveled.They always depart at least 2-3 hours after the stated time and the food on board is the worst of the worst.Once I was on international flight from UK-PAK and they served LAYS CHIPS with a bread/butter as snacks.I mean how awful they can get.They need a big revamp or else they are doomed.

Thats nonsense about not contacting people who book thru a travel agent. I always book thru a travel agent and once when my flight was delayed from Lahore I got a call too. They have details of all passengers.
