PM arrives in China

SANYA (China): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif arrived here on Wednesday to participate in the 2014 Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) on the invitation of the Chinese government.

The prime minister, accompanied by Special Assistant to PM Tariq Fatemi and Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, was received by Deputy Governor of Hainan Province Chen Zhi Rong and Ambassador of China to Pakistan Sun Wei Dong.

The premier would address the opening session of the BFA on Thursday and would also make a keynote speech at a seminar on “Reviving the Silk Road”.

The seminar would be attended by leaders of China, Iran and Kazakhstan.—APP
