Okie dokie, artichokie! He may be a symbol of masculinity and machismo as far as Punjabi films go, but his fans are likely to see him in a different avatar. The late Sultan Rahi’s admirers have been inundating authorities at the Madame Tussauds with requests to put his waxwork alongside other international stars.

Apparently their request is being considered, I repeat, considered, and if accepted we may see a Sultan Rahi made of nothing but wax glaring at visitors of the museum with a gandasa in one hand and twisting his mustache with the other. If that happens, please don’t let his leading ladies touch him. He can melt like ice cream in the hot Sibbi summer.
