FAISALABAD, Sept 3: The manager and deputy manager of the Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) were gunned down here on Tuesday near Malkhanwala on Sattiana Road.
Reports said two motorcyclists opened an indiscriminate fire on a government vehicle carrying two people identified as Rana Naveed, 50, branch manager and Mazhar Aziz, 54, deputy manager.
The attackers managed their escape. The officials succumbed to their injuries on the spot.
On being informed of the incident, the police rushed to the spot. Bodies were shifted to the Allied Hospital for autopsy. — Staff Correspondent
