KARACHI University is facing a lot of problems, including politics, finance and corruption.

One of the biggest problems students and the university administration have been facing for the past many years is the  interference by student organisations in educational work.

Most of these organisations are supported by political parties. These student unions were permitted in the era of the previous government. Later, these student organisations spoilt the university environment.

Students also complain about the student wings of political parties and have demanded that they should not interfere in any matter. The university administration must issue a code of conduct for the political parties. The upcoming government should take positive steps to reduce the influence of political parties in the university.
