England beat Pakistan

ABU DHABI, Feb 15: England beat Pakistan by 20 runs in the second day-night international on Wednesday to take a 2-0 lead in the four-match series.

Alastair Cook scored 102 for his second successive hundred in the series  to power his team to 250-4 in the allotted 50 overs.

Misbah-ul Haq and Imran Farhat top-scored with 47 each, but Pakistan were undone by Steve Finn’s 4-34 as England kept their nerve to bowl out Pakistan for 230 in 49 overs.

The third and fourth matches of the series will be played in Dubai on Saturday and Tuesday.—AFP
