Turkish president due next week

ANKARA, Oct 19: Turkish President Ahmet Necdet Sezer will pay a two-day visit to Pakistan next week to discuss the US-British operation against Afghanistan and global tensions, the presidential palace said here on Friday.

During his visit, scheduled to begin on Thursday, Mr Sezer will meet with President Gen Pervez Musharraf. Mr Sezer’s office said in the statement that the talks would cover “bilateral relations between the two allies and friends, and look at issues of cooperation and regional...and international developments.”
