LAHORE: Embarking on the second leg of Jamaat-i-Islami’s train march against corruption here on Thursday, the party chief Sirajul Haq said the nation would not pardon those who had plundered the public money and transferred it to Swiss Banks, Panama, London, and Dubai.

A large number of enthusiastic JI workers and youth bade farewell to the march, led by the party chief, at the Lahore Railway Station as they left for Karachi.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Haq said the objective of the JI’s ‘corruption-free Pakistan’ campaign and train march was to pave the way for building the country as a welfare state. He said the Panama Leaks had exposed the plunderers. Liaqat Baloch and Farid Piracha are also accompanying the march.

KASUR: Sirajul Haq talked to the media at Kot Radha Kishan and Pattoki railway stations as the train march reached there.

He said the JI was determined to eradicate corruption from the country and would not rest until corruption was uprooted. The march was given a warm welcome by JI workers and local representatives, including Usman Ghani, Haji Muhammad Ramzan and Sardar Noor Ahmed Dogar.

OKARA: As JI’s train march reached the railway station here before noon and a large number of JI workers greeted it.

Addressing the party workers, Sirajul Haq said various national institution like the PIA, steel mills, Wapda and railways were facing heavy losses but the ruling family of the Sharifs and the corrupt elite were flourishing. JI district emir Dr Liaqat Ali Kausar and Sheikh Farooq were present.

SAHIWAL: JI chief Sirajul Haq was greeted by more than 200 party workers and local leaders at the railway station despite the 40 degree Celsius temperature.

The JI workers were holding party flags and banners inscribed with slogans in favour of the JI’s campaign. Liaqat Baloch was also accompanying him. Haq addressed the gathering.

MULTAN: JI leaders and workers received the train march at the railway station. They were holding party flags and raising slogans against corruption and in favour of the JI.

Addressing the participants, Mr Haq said the nation would not spare the people who had transferred the looted money to Panama, London, Dubai and Switzerland.

Later, the march left for Rohri. The train march would reach Karachi on May 27 (today).
