ISLAMABAD: Around 45 lecturers of Islamabad model and federal government colleges were promoted as assistant professors in BPS-18 on Wednesday.

Moreover, the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meeting gave Grade 18 to 11 headmistresses of IMCGs. The DPC was held here at CADD with additional secretary CADD Qaiser Majeed Malik in the chair.

An official of CADD said that 17 lecturers (12 men and five women) of FG colleges and 22 (men and women) of model colleges got promotion to next scale.

Prof. Manzar Zafar Kazmi, the Federal Government College Teachers Association (FGCTA) president, and Prof. Mohammad Akram, General Secretary (FGCTA) congratulated all the teachers who got the promotion.
