PPP leaders meet in Dubai today

KARACHI: The PPP is set to hold a crucial meeting in Dubai on Saturday (today) to discuss and formulate its strategy for upcoming local government elections and the anti-corruption drive being run by some federal institutions in Sindh, it emerged on Friday.
A senior PPP leader said the meeting was called by Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and it would continue till Sunday. PPP leaders, including former prime ministers Yousuf Raza Gilani and Raja Pervez Ashraf, would attend it.

“The agenda is not known to everyone but obviously the meeting is most likely to discuss the party strategy in the upcoming local government elections and the recent anti-PPP campaign in the name of an anti-corruption drive. Since the co-chairman is in Dubai these days, you would see these kinds of sittings in the near future as well,” he said.
Sources said that senior PPP leaders Faryal Talpur and Taj Haider along with Sindh Home Minister Suhail Anwar Siyal left Karachi for Dubai on Friday evening.
It is the second PPP meeting in Dubai this month.
After the Sept 8 meeting, the PPP came up with a declaration that the policy of reconciliation had damaged it and it would not repeat this mistake in the coming LG polls.
The meeting called it “painful” for the PPP to be declared by some as supporters of terrorists, but it would try to endure repressive actions and continue to struggle in parliament and the courts, the PPP leader said.

After looting and committing crimes, the political leaders of Pakistani political parties quit the country, but continue their political activities. Altaf has done that for over two decades. Now Zardari is doing the same. Why can't Pakistani nation do any thing about it?

The State should curb travel of all politician that go get remote orders in a foreign country. The Sindh government should be run from Karachi, if not than Governor Raj should be imposed by the Federation.

Zardari has done irreparable damage to Peoples Party in the last 8 years that he usurped the leadership of the Party. What is mind boggling is the fact that old senior workers and leader of this Party still consider him and his son their leaders and rush to Dubai on his call.

Parliament should legislate against people sitting abroad and doing politics in Pakistan. Nobody and nobody should be allowed to do that.If you can not live in this country ispite of making all the money here then you should not be allowed to lead any political party or hold political meeting on foreign soil.

After reading these 42 comments on these so called political party, I feel anger, I am in anger and asking our COAS and all members of CORP, Then to NAB, then to FIA, that why you organization/people are not taking action against these corrupt people, who are looting my beloved country since long. I am very much depress, very much.
I have seen ppp 20 vehicle convoy in Clifton moving for CM Sindh building, consists of Billions $ Jeeps. Rangers and Police in their old vehicles saluting them. What a Joke? What a Joke? Are you playing with your country?
