Preference should be the month of Ramadan and not the cricket match. PCB should have made the effort to arrange the series around the sacred month of Ramadan. I am sure players could not fast during the series and felt obligated to skip fasting.
Employers should try to create encouraging atmosphere where employees can observe the month fervently.

Pray as much as you like, no one cares. Only results count.
However it is a little sad to see all of them not at home due to the profession they chose.

I personally feel that some moments of someone's personal life specially in the state or act of worship should not be brought into public media or be a subject of comments. Better we leave those acts and moments between the person and the creator.

Alhumdulillah, it's inspiring and sad at the same time to see these spiritually moving pics of our Pakistan cricketers in lands away from home, with no family time on such an important Islamic celebration marking the closure of Ramzan.
One would respectfully request Dawn assignment editors to please enlighten us as to why the PCB decided to schedule these matches during Ramzan and Eid?? Is there any rhyme or reason justifying this most unfortunate scheduling?
